BRIAN KYNCY
Big Brian was born and raised in Northern California spending every spare moment hunting or fishing the premier creeks and river drainages from Yosemite to Mount Shasta. Although early in his life he excelled in the Corporate World, he was still able to use this travel to his advantage making it a personal mission to fish or hunt in every major mountain range in the entire U.S, from New York to California. Leaving the Corporate World and Moving back to North Eastern California in 2000, Big Brian opened Nor Cal Shasta Outfitters & Kyncy Guide Service which offers fishing trips on the picturesque Trinity and Sacramento river systems. These rivers and creeks offer a variety of terrain and fisheries, which also fueled Big Brian’s desire to explore waterways and the different species of salmonids. Big Brian’s exploration and constant fishing success of all of the drainages in Northern California lead him into the Alaskan Guide business full time. Brian and his two boys became a successful Alaskan Guides. Big Brian is also an accomplished Turkey, and Bear Hunting Guide. Take a look at our Gallery. Brian lives in North Eastern California with his wife of 32 years. Celeste and Brian enjoy 7 children and 8 grandchildren. We are a Christian family who focuses on “Families that Hunt, Fish and Pray together, stay together”!
NATHANIEL KYNCY
Nathaniel Kyncy who also guides for the world famous Redding Fly Shop, was born in Minnesota but raised in Northern California. Nathaniel is married to Maiya Kyncy and has a young son named Tobias. Nathaniel has a passion and respect for the outdoors. Many of his favorite childhood memories come from family camping and hunting trips where his father patiently taught him how to fish, row a boat, call in a turkey, track a bear and survive in the wilderness. Nathaniel has spent several years in Alaska, 2016 was Nathaniel’s first year as an Alaskan Licensed Guide. Nathaniel is an accomplished fly fisherman, spey fisherman, and nymph fisherman, Nathaniel and Maiya are the owners of www.KyncyGuideService.com
LIL BRIAN KYNCY JR
Lil Brian Kyncy jr. The oldest son of the Kyncy Clan was born and raised in Northern California. Lil Bri is married to Jessica Kyncy from Alaska and is raising a small family. He also has a passion for fly fishing and guiding the steelhead rivers of Alaska and N. California. Many of his favorite childhood memories come from family camping and hunting trips where his father patiently taught him how to fish, row a boat, call in a turkey, track a bear and survive in the wilderness. Lil Bri has spent over a decade guiding in Alaska. Lil bri is an accomplished fly fisherman, spey fisherman, and nymph fisherman. Lil Brian owns Kyncy’s of Alaska Guide and Outfitters.
HUNTER KYNCY
Hunter Kyncy was born in N California but but spent many seasons and high school in Alaska. Hunter and Veronica are raising their daughter Kyra in N. California. Hunter is our lead California bear guide, and also guides fly fishing for rainbows on the world famous Sacramento river. Hunter has a passion and respect for the outdoors.
